Since the UK wide lockdown began in March 2020, Liz has been offering bespoke string recordings from her home studio. She has the ability to layer multiple parts and create orchestral textures of any size, and various other ensemble configurations using Violin, Viola and Cello. She offers an optional arrangement of the music to fit your needs perfectly.

She plays Violin and Viola to a professional standard, but can also play the Cello and Double Bass. She records all three of these instruments regularly.
She uses 3 different microphones in her studio to maximise the depth of the instruments tone, and is well versed in editing the audio to create the perfect blend of the instruments (having spent the previous 7 years performing in orchestras).

A R R A N G I N G / C O M P O S I N G
Liz has always had a passion for arranging and composing music, since she was very young she was composing short pieces to play in school.
As she grew she taught herself valuable skills in arranging music for string instruments in particular, and since starting her string quartet at university she began doing this seriously. Whilst there she learnt more skills in not just arranging but composing full pieces for orchestra, in which she is still expanding her skillset.

Liz has skills writing for any genre, can write strings to accompany your song, do solo string intros/outros, and compose classical style pieces for you too.
She has previously arranged strings for Rob Landes' YouTube videos, Kaspar Jalily's music, amongst many other clients.
S E S S I O N W O R K
Before the lockdown, Liz had lots of experience playing in many different ensembles that crossover classical instruments in popular music settings. She has played for many bands including the Illegal Eagles, SIGMA, Manchester Inspirational Voices, Kaleidoscope Orchestra, Northern Session Collective, Ray Quinn and Michelle John.

She has performed live with artists such as SIGMA, Faithless, Wayne Ellington, Illegal Eagles, amongst many other artists.
​
She also performs with ensembles such as Kaleidoscope Orchestra, Northern Session Collective, and has previously performed with groups such as Ignition Orchestra, the RNCM Session Orchestra and the Gatecrasher Orchestra.
C L A S S I C A L W O R K
Liz is a keen Classical musician, and has performed principal roles in ensembles such as the RNCM Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Ensemble, Sinfonietta and Baroque ensemble, as well as various other chamber ensembles. She has received coaching from multiple leading musicians such as the Talich Quartet, Chilingirian Quartet, Elias Quartet, Henning Kraggerud and Timothy Reynish.

In 2019 she was a member of the Britten Shostakovich Festival Orchestra in their Inaugural year, and toured the UK and Russia with the orchestra performing in both countries most prestigious venues.
​
She also regularly freelances with the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, playing in several of their concerts a year.
​
As part of these orchestras she has performed with soloists such as Christian Tetszlaf, Jennifer Pike, Ning Feng among many others.
